weather – usually “indian summer”, cool mornings, around 20 during the day, sunny and dry, no wind, we will provide actual forecast on our homepage as soon as we will be having reliable data
crime – crime level in Austria is low and in this rural part even lower, you can have a walk outside alone at 2 a.m. in the morning with your camera visible, some people still do not lock their cars or houses
tap water – tap water is pure spring water, at least the same quality as you can buy in plastic bottles in the supermarket, you may drink any quantity you like
hygienics – standards and controls are high, you don’t need to worry tasting anything that might look “suspicious”

not arriving by plane? – nevertheless, see from/to airport
cash – be sure to take some cash with you as cards aren’t always accepted (of course the hotel does). ATMs are widely available, e.g. at Graz airport or within walking distance from the hotel. Banking hours to change money are rather short any vary a lot, the one in the arrival hall of the airport opens 10:30 to 15:30. The reception at the hotel will also change money, but usually the rate there is not the best.
